Hi! I’m Kristen, the photographer behind Tails of ATX. I’ve been a proud dog mom for 6 years and share my life with 4 adorable pups - 2 Finnish Lapphunds and 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis.
Whether we’re at fun events, dog sports trials, or just enjoying time together, I love photographing my dogs and my friends’ dogs. I’m definitely an extra dog mom—I live for holiday-themed photo shoots complete with accessories, props, and plenty of personality. Capturing the joy dogs bring to our lives is truly my passion!

Recommend 3-4 weeks in advance to account for planning, ordering a custom themed backdrop, props, etc.
How much is a session?

What if my pet is nervous or anxious?
Our photographers are trained to handle nervous pets with patience and care. Let us know, and we’ll take extra time to make them comfortable.
Can I stay with my dog during the photoshoot?
Absolutely! In some photoshoots, we even allow owners to join in!
What should I bring to a session?
If your pet has food sensitivities/allergies or is a picky eater, please bring treats that they love (as bribes for cooperating for the photoshoot of course!).
